Most of us usually don’t have the time in the mornings to make a healthy breakfast which is why this easy to make banana oat smoothie recipe is perfect to start your day. All it takes is 5mins to prep and you can even bring it to work!
This smoothie offers a great source of fiber, protein and it’s dairy-free and has zero refined sugar as the banana already adds a hint of sweetness. It’s also a great post work out drink to refuel your body!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- ½ cup yoghurt (you can also use silk almond milk yogurt)
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ cup almond milk
Method
- Add all ingredients into your blender and puree until smooth.
- Serve and enjoy! (2 servings)
