How Beatriz first started Pilates and took it up professionally.
Since young age I loved to be active, so it was an easy decision to become a Fitness Instructor.
I was introduced to Pilates a few years later while working in a health Club and got very intrigued about the method and its benefits to my clients. So, I took the course and never stopped teaching ever since.
What do you like about Pilates?
I love the method for many reasons but specially because it’s focused on body awareness and movement control.
What spurs you to become a Pilates Instructor and how long have you been teaching?
I would love to help as many people to be more active and healthy and I’ve been teaching for more than 5 years ever since I took up the course
What’s your favourite Pilates move?
Side sit up on reformer (all my students know it by the way!)
What are some challenges you faced while training to become an instructor? Any advice / tips to trainees?
I was lucky and glad to not have to face many challenges as I had some fitness background.
What’s your goal / life motto?
It’s simple – Do what makes you happy!
What can we expect in your group classes?
Some good challenges, and side sit ups for sure!
Any other hobby you enjoy doing during your free time?
If I’m not teaching, I will be baking 😉
What’s your favourite post-workout meal in Raffles Place?
Love the meals from Daily Cut
