Focus on giving back
We are pleased to have been able to work with numerous charitable organisations over the years to assist the less fortunate. As we continuously look for ways in which we can help others, below are some of the organisations that we have contribute to so far.
Carbon Neutral
During 2007 to 2016, Focus has planted over 2000+ native trees and shrubs which has off-set over a total 80 tonnes of CO2.
2007 – Focus planted 253 native trees, helping to off-set 42.11 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
2008 to 2016 – Focus has planted 1909 native trees and shrubs which has off-set over 45 tonnes of CO2.
Breast Cancer Foundation
Focus has been helping to raise awareness for the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) and to provide support to those affected for more than 8 years now.

Intiwawa
Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home
On 13 May 2021, a public holiday, Focus together with instructor Rina and special guest/client, Suan conducted a complimentary Virtual Cardio Pilates HIIT session. This class is conducted for charity and any donation (entirely voluntary) will be paid directly to Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home, which was selected by Suan.
If the total donated amount received exceeds $1000, Focus will be donating an amount of $500 to the private home.

Aware
On 20 July 2021, a public holiday, Focus together with instructor Haley and Mins conducted a complimentary Virtual Cardio Pilates HIIT and Stretch & Release workout session. This class is conducted for charity and any donation (entirely voluntary) will be paid directly to AWARE, Singapore’s leading gender equality advocacy group, to support greater women-centric efforts.
Focus will be matching dollar to dollar of up to $250.

Typhoon Yolanda, Philippines
With the help of our clients and contributions from Focus, an outstanding total of $13,384.66 was raised for the Typhoon Yolanda Relief effort.
Roslin Orphanage
In January 2014, with a combined effort with Dr Ann Tan of the Women and Fetal Centre, we were able to donate over 110 bottles of multi-vitamins to Roslin Orphanage.
December 2013 – Focus organised a Toy Drive to collect new and second-hand educational and Montessori toys. Over 30 toys were collected and distributed to the orphanage.
October 2013 – Focus team members travelled to Roslin Orphanage to partake in volunteer work, where they helped build a new school as well as entertain and teach Pilates to the 100 children and youngsters.

Great instructors and good customer service. Always being greeted with a smile when the lift door opens. Been with Focus for past 12 years and still love going there for weekly classes.
Dedicated Instructors
I find Focus to be the best Pilates school in Singapore. The instructors are very professional and dedicated, be it 1-1 sessions or group classes. The receptionists are very friendly and welcoming.
Studio is always neat and clean
Instructor maintained a good standard and effort to tailor each session during my past 8 months here. My progress is very satisfying. Highly recommend Haley, she is my instructor.
